Like I promised I would tell you all what we have been up to last Saturday. Will and I bought a scooter for Will’s commute to and from work. The guy said come pick it up on Wednesday and so we did. Oh but it wasn’t ready. So now we are picking it up on Friday. Bummer. Here is what it looks like. It really is just a cheap little scooter. We are hoping that it treats our family well.

Will is going to take the written part to a motorcycle test pretty soon, and then we need to sign him up for the driving test. I am sure every thing will go well.

This reminds me of an article I just read in last Sundays paper about a family just like us trying to sell their BIG honking SUV, but with no success since nobody wants to buy a gas guzzler!!! The article also reported that all the bike and scooter shops in Austin have TRIPLED their sales since last May. So I can understand why you guys would want to get a scooter. Gas prices here in TX are just reaching $4. Thankfully Stephen gets a free car AND gas at work, so we haven’t been burden like most Americans have. Can’t wait to see a photo of Will driving the new scooter! 🙂

I wish I lived close enough to work to commute on a scooter! Great choice. You should paint some flames on the side, and get some spinning rims!!

Be safe Will! And pop wheelies. 🙂

That can fit in the saddle bag of a Harley Davidson. Can you go down steps on that scooter? Can you take passengers?
