Red dots

27 Feb

One of the vaccinations that Sierra received when she went into the doctor was the chicken pox vaccination. Need I say more…

After 3 days of a fever, she woke up this morning and I found these little red dots all over her. They are getting worse. Great 😦

I called the nurse and she said that it will be a very very mild case, but none the less she has them. Bummer. She isn’t contagious though. They said that because she got them through the vaccination no one else will get them. So that is a plus.

Oh, that poor little belly. If it gets worse and itchy, you can always do what Phoebe did on Friends and duct tape oven mitts onto her hands. πŸ™‚

Poor baby…that stinks. At least she isn’t contagious…

I wonder if that will make her extra immune? I’ve always worried that the vaccine my kids got will end up not good enough and they’ll get it anyway. I’d think her body will be producing antibodies to fight this and that she’ll be set for life now.

Poor little girl. I remember going through that with the boys. Hope she gets over it soon.

Chicken pocks are my favorite! First Art then Bobbie and Trish then HD and Kristin. What fun times and good memories πŸ™‚

She got them only on her belly, not on her face, that’s great! I hope she feel better soon. Does she have to stay home from church?
