Done, Done, and Done!

22 May

We are done with pack meeting for another month. The kids LOVED the activities this time. We had 3 stations. One they found animal footprints hidden around the church, second we had how far animals could jump maked out and the kids jumped, and last we did cement foot prints of the kids.

Our pack meeting was pretty small this month again. It is hitting the summer… So we had the kids split into 2 groups. I was mixing the quick dry cement the whole time and the kids were doing the jumping activity. At the end when Will was stretching for a little more time for me to finish up all the kids went to find the foot prints. They loved it and I am glad that we are done with it for the month. Wahoo.

Now we are off to the park.

Sounds like great fun! I think I might steal these ideas if the need arises in the future:)

I am just so proud of your dedication in your callings for the cubs. They are so lucky to have you two. Good job!

Are you sure you don’t love this calling!? You’re definitely good at it and a real blessing to those Cubs.

At preschool, to finish our Bears study we went on an animal tracking walk where I had pre-hid forest animal prints and baggies of food that bears would eat to make a trail mix….next year I am going to suggest adding your ideas to the activity!

Glad it worked well for your group too. Now we are into planning our Pirate Pack Meeting for June- Raingutter Regatta. Any ideas on how I can get Ray to dress up in a Pirate costume?
