Will’s Entry: When I was a kid

16 Dec

Having children definitely brings back memories of one’s childhood.  I really get a kick out of how Jason and Sierra play so well together.  They really spend a lot of time playing together.  I’m not sure what they do exactly, but they like to do it together.

During this time of year, Kristin really gets in the Christmas spirit.  That means a lot of Christmas movies . . . movies that I haven’t seen or thought of for YEARS . . . and I’m scared of them.

I don’t even know why I’m scared of this one;  I couldn’t bear to watch enough to remember.  Just seeing on TV gave me an icky feeling and I feel like I’ve seen this one enough for my lifetime . . .  The same goes for this one:

Let’s just say that I’m with Sheldon and am rooting for the sun 🙂

I’ll stick with the best Christmas movie of all time:

and it’s great quotes:

This is my house, I have to defend it.
You guys give up yet? Or are you thirsty for more?
Buzz! Your girlfriend! Woof!
Snakes?  Snakes?   I don’t know no Snakes?

What??? You don’t like Twas the Night??? It is the best repentance Christmas show ever! I used to quote one line to my kids all the time…”You can’t just be sorry, when you’ve done….” you get the idea.

Maybe that’s why I feel like I involuntarily watched it a lot.

I can’t believe some of those scare you…silly! Our favorite in this house comes from Uncle Eric…A Christmas Story. “You’ll shoot your eye out!”
