Will’s Entry: Crazy Wife

16 Feb

It’s a quiet week at work.  Usually it’s crazy convention time but this year everyone’s enjoying a week out on a cruise ship in the Bahamas somewhere.  We took minimal staff and so I’m sitting here at corporate.  Most of the international management does not have internet access out there so things are real quiet around here.

On the other hand Kristin is churning out lasagna after lasagna, probably as I’m writing this.  Which is why she hasn’t been blogging much.  She did the same thing yesterday.  She’s on Blue and Gold Dinner mode which means that she’s making around 10 lasagnas for the Cubs and their families.  Not only that but she’s making “regular” lasagnas with sausage PLUS Chicken/Brocolli Alfredo lasagnas just in case people want something different to pick.

After that she’ll start making batches of homemade Oreo cookies.  I’m not sure how many batches but I’m sure she’ll make enough and them some more.

Yes, Kristin is crazy and I love her determination to get things done.  She declines assistance more than I’d like but she’s always happy when she finishes.  Not only that but her big heart is still willing to help others watch their kids (as if her hands aren’t full already) and she desperately wants to help her sister and it seems that she could use a hand at the moment too.  Yep, she’s crazy – crazy good.

Yes, she is crazy churning out numerous lasagna’s… I tried to convince her to go with one kind but she said no that people needed choices… This is BLUE AND GOLD for pete’s sake not a wedding! She is that good.

I love that “Coombs” drive in her…it makes me realize I’m not the only one! 🙂

What a woman! Hey, do all those lasagnas fit in the freezer?

That not wanting to except help is a Coombs trait..Michael gets on my case about it also. I think it’s great that she is willing to spend so much of her time(and sanity) to serving others.

She’s doing the Blue & Gold food alone? I think that’s a one-way ticket to the Celestial Kingdom. Thanks for making the rest of us look bad Kristin! 🙂
