Good bye Hottub!

13 May

I will start off with the kids. They are more interesting any ways… Elena is so so so close to learing how to crawl. She is still rolling all over the place. She can get on her hands and knees and then she just sits there and rocks back and forth. She now can move one knee, but her hands are still stationary. So, so, so, close. She does however like to scoot backwards. (Well I don’t know if she likes to, but she does it a lot).

Elena is also a fan of puffs. Her little fingers are still trying to figure it out. The puffs mostly end up all over the ground. Before she gets the chance to become frustrated Jason and Sierra always come to the rescue and feed her.

Of course the flash is turned off…

So now I finally get the flash turned on and the kids want to take a picture together. As soon as I say cheese, this happens.

Ok let’s try this again. Sierra no grumpy face; smile. And this is the result.

Elena! Come on! I don’t want to see your puff!

Oh forget it!!!

Will and I have grown pretty weary of that hot tub in our back yard. We turned it off a few years ago and it has just been sitting there. We called a spa company to see how much it was to remove and they told us it was $750. We both thought, then that sucker is just going to sit there. Will found a junk 2 dump company and asked how much it was to remove a hot tub. $150, heck yes come and remove it!

I sent Jason to his room as a punishment for bothering his sister. I don’t think it worked very well. Even after I let him get out, he still just stood there watching the 2 guys remove the hot tub for a good 45 minutes to an hour.

They cut through it in 4 pieces…

They broke it apart…

And ta-daa! Now I am stumped with what to do with the power box… Any ideas?

I didn’t mind the hot tub but I know how much you hated it. That is a fun little pad out there. Is the power box stuck there? Maybe you can get a few chairs, table and one of those tent things and hang up twinkle lights with the power box? I envision dinner outside or just watching the kids play in the back yard while you sit in the shade 🙂

THe pictures are cute. I like Elena showing you her puff.

She is really close that is exactly what Ty did, he went backwards for about a week or two then just starting throwing it in Drive instead of reverse. Can’t wait to see video of the little lady cruising!

Classic pics!! Mickie’s right. That is a nice stamped concrete (more expensive!) for maybe a table or something. Just make sure you remember to take the umbrella down in the wind! 🙂
