Birthday Dinner

12 Sep

Last night we were able to get together for an early birthday dinner for my Grandpa Bragg. I miss hanging out with everyone. We all had a great time. Everyone that came brought something delicious to eat. I had a great time talking with everyone.

So in the car on our way home from fun things that we get to do, I like to ask, “What was your favorite part?” I like to do it because the answers are so different even though we went to the same event. It is fun to hear what everyone says. These are our favorite things from last night…

Will: Eating ribs.

Jason: Jumping on the trampoline with big Jason and when he brought over the basketball hoop and I tried to make baskets.

Sierra: Playing angry birds on the ipad.

Kristin: Big Jason teaching little Jason how to ding-dong ditch. My favorite part was hearing the doorbell ring and then see a little Jason run around in the backyard through the back door and pretend that it wasn’t him. Priceless.

Hey, I said it was a tie. Playing Kick-Keepaway with Sierra was a blast too.

I think that Big Jason lives to make sure the kids know how to get into trouble…. haha Sounds like it was a fun night, bummer we missed it.

Acting casual when it was you is absolutely a skill one must master…. you can never start too young. Eating ribs without making a mess is good too. Because if you leave behind BBQ sauce all over somebody’s kickball or doorbell they’re pretty much gonna know it was you.
