Drawings

5 Oct

I think Will wanted to take a picture of Elena and I because we both have really crazy hair. What do you think?

Elena is such a big girl now. She even likes to help me cook. She was chopping the broccoli for the broccoli soup we were make for dinner. (I don’t think she is getting much chopping done with that spoon though…)

Our monitor finally broke. After 9 years it looked like this… What is the fun of taking a picture of the actual monitor when Sierra is such and excellent artist. The first picture is a working monitor and the second is ours…Yeah, the top half was black. It sure was a pain. Will and I were waiting for a surplus sale at UVU, but it didn’t happen this month so we finally went out and bought a little monitor. After a week you can only take so much…

We also had dentist appointments and then next day Elena had a check up. Boy was she a crank for both of the appointments.  I am hopping that she will get over this whole being afraid of strangers thing… I am happy to say none of us have cavities and Elena is finally 20lbs even! Wahoo. We have a heavy weight in the family!

Jason has been bringing lots of papers home from school. And what do we do with the backs of the papers? Use them for scratch paper of course! Sierra has been drawing to her hearts content these last few weeks. I love how creative she is becomming!

(written on wed) Now I am am off to straighten the house, do homework with Jason, make dinner, go to a parent teacher conference,  and then off to bunco. (Conference didn’t go so well… It seams that I have “that child.” Oh the joy’s…)

Sorry for the rough day yesterday Sis. I heard about it. Thanks for refusing delivery on our package! We ended up buying another one at Costco last night and we’ll just get a refund for the other in instead of re-purchasing. Hope you’re having a better day today. Wish I were there to give you a “You’re a GREAT MOM and your child is a GOOD child,” speech with hug, a bunch of chocolate and a good book. Speaking of books, how is Edenbrooke?
